I love the matchmaker show and what I have read of the book so far. I don’t agree with what some of the men are looking for in LA. I am from the South and we have plenty of Millionaire’s but they are not as flashy as the LA guys and are not looking for superficial girls. LA seems to be about looks and plastic surgery (trophy wives). There are school teachers married to millionaires here in the south. They own lots of land or a business but are not interested in being high rollers just layed back and enjoy what they do and have.

This book was well written, and contained pertinent, usable information. It was also entertaining, and inspiring – I recommended it to a friend.

This book was written for women. But I wanted to read it anyway. Why? I actually thought of joining the Millionaire’s Club a couple of years ago. I like the way her service is set-up, etc… Anyway, I wanted to read what she was telling women.
Patti’s advice was spot-on target! Seriously! She knows exactly what guys are looking for. It always amazes me when I hear a woman say something like, “I’m not going to lose weight because I want to find a guy that will accept me the way I am.” As a guy, I can tell you this is crazy! Pattie also spoke about a girl in her organization that always starts off by telling a guy on the first date that she has 5 children. Yikes! This one hit home because I had a women tell me she had 7 children. No joke! At first, I wondered if she was serious. She was serious.
I think any woman that is serious about meeting a guy and getting married should read this book. It’s advice would be invaluable to most women. But like most guys, I think they will only listen to selective parts of the book.

This book is a fun read even if you aren’t serious about dating yet due to the strength of Patti Stanger’s personality.
